DISCOM

A DISCOM (Distribution Company) is the utility that delivers electricity to your premises and bills you — MSEDCL in most of Maharashtra, BESCOM in Bengaluru, and so on. Every rooftop solar application is processed and approved by your DISCOM.

The DISCOM grants technical feasibility, inspects the installed plant, installs the net meter, and applies net-metering credits to bills. State-wise DISCOM lists are on our subsidy pages.
