HJT (Heterojunction)

HJT (heterojunction) cells sandwich crystalline silicon between thin-film layers, achieving 22.5–24% efficiency with the best temperature behaviour of any mainstream technology. It is the premium tier above TOPCon.

HJT’s very low temperature coefficient (~−0.24%/°C) means it loses less output on hot Indian afternoons. Supply in India is still limited and prices are higher, so HJT currently suits space-constrained or premium projects.
