Hybrid Solar System
A hybrid solar system combines grid connection with battery storage: solar powers the load, surplus charges the batteries or exports to the grid, and the batteries provide backup during power cuts.
Hybrids cost more per kW than on-grid systems because of the battery bank and hybrid inverter, but they solve the outage problem that pure grid-tied systems cannot. Sizing the battery to essential loads only (fans, lights, Wi-Fi, refrigerator) keeps the premium manageable.
