Microinverter

A microinverter is a small inverter mounted under each panel, converting DC to AC at module level. Each panel operates independently, so shading or failure of one panel does not affect the rest.

Microinverters cost meaningfully more per watt and are less common in India, but suit complex, partially-shaded roofs and buyers wanting panel-level monitoring. AC cabling replaces high-voltage DC runs, simplifying safety.
