Solar Inverter
A solar inverter converts the DC electricity produced by panels into the 230/415 V AC electricity that homes and the grid use. It is the brain of the system — handling MPPT tracking, grid synchronisation, safety shutdowns, and monitoring.
Inverters are the component most likely to be replaced once in a plant’s 25-year life (typical warranties: 5–10 years, extendable). Efficiency of modern string inverters exceeds 97–98%.
