RESCO / OPEX Model

In the RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) or OPEX model, a developer installs and owns the plant on your roof and sells you the power through a long-term PPA at a tariff below your grid rate — zero investment from you.

You trade higher lifetime savings for zero capital and zero O&M responsibility, typically over a 10–25 year contract. Read exit clauses, tariff escalation, and roof-access terms carefully; RESCO suits societies and businesses that prefer opex.
