The Elan Shine TOPCon Gen-II is Adani Solar’s N-type dual-glass bifacial module, using 144 half-cut M10 cells across a 550W–580W bin range, reaching 22.5% module efficiency at the top bin. It carries a 30-year linear performance warranty (≤1% year-1 degradation, ≤0.40%/year after, landing at 87.4% by year 30 — the same strong endpoint we found on Waaree’s TOPCon line) plus a 12-year product warranty.
One genuinely notable thing about this datasheet, compared to every other panel we’ve reviewed: it explicitly lists BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification among its approvals. Tata’s, Waaree’s, and Vikram Solar’s datasheets did not state BIS at all — this is the first time we’ve seen it written directly on the document. The same datasheet does add "a few certifications in process," so this is a genuine positive, not a guarantee every listed certificate is finalized for your specific batch.
Adani also publishes a fuller bifacial-gain table than the other panels here — expected power at 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% assumed rear-side gain, rather than just a bare bifaciality ratio. That is more useful for your own yield modelling, though actual gain still depends entirely on your mount height and ground reflectivity, not the datasheet table alone.

Temperature coefficient of Pmax is −0.32%/°C — at a realistic 65°C summer cell temperature, that works out to roughly 12.8% derate from STC, closely matching the Waaree TOPCon module we reviewed (≈12%, −0.30%/°C) and meaningfully better than the Mono PERC panels reviewed here (Vikram ≈14%, Tata ≈15%). Consistent with N-type TOPCon’s known thermal advantage over P-type PERC.
Mechanical load is stated as 3,600 Pa downward / 1,600 Pa upward — a different rating convention from the "5,400 Pa snow / 2,400 Pa wind" figures on the Tata, Waaree, and Vikram datasheets reviewed elsewhere. These are not simply interchangeable numbers: downward/upward and snow/wind test directions and standards can differ. If wind or coastal exposure is the reason you are considering this module, have a structural engineer interpret this rating against your actual site requirement rather than comparing the headline Pa figure directly against other brands.
Bifaciality factor is 80±5% — a notably tighter tolerance band than the 80±10% we found on Waaree’s TOPCon module or the 70±10% on Tata’s Mono PERC bifacial module, which may indicate more consistent batch-to-batch rear-side output. The same installation-height and albedo dependency applies as with any bifacial module — the lab figure is a ceiling, not a promise.
Cell architecture is 144 half-cut M10 N-type TOPCon cells — the same general half-cut shade-tolerance mechanism covered in our other panel reviews, combined with TOPCon’s passivated-contact efficiency advantage over PERC.
