ALMM (Approved List of Models and Manufacturers)

ALMM is the Government of India’s official list of approved solar module models and manufacturers, maintained by MNRE. Government-supported projects — including PM Surya Ghar subsidised rooftops — must use ALMM-listed modules.

ALMM is effectively a market-access gate and quality floor: modules are enlisted after factory inspection and BIS certification. Always verify the specific model number (not just the brand) appears on the current ALMM list before signing.
