Module Efficiency

Module efficiency is the percentage of sunlight energy a panel converts into electricity. Current mainstream panels in India run 20–22.5%; higher efficiency means more watts from the same roof area.

Efficiency matters most when roof space is tight. If your roof is large, a slightly less efficient panel at better ₹/Wp can be the smarter buy — payback, not efficiency, is the deciding number.
