POLICY & SUBSIDY

State Nodal Agency (SNA)

A State Nodal Agency is the state-government body that implements renewable energy programmes locally — for example MEDA in Maharashtra or GEDA in Gujarat. SNAs run state incentives, empanelments, and awareness programmes.

For rooftop consumers the DISCOM is now the main interface, but SNAs matter for state top-up incentives, commercial approvals, and ground-mount projects.
